Another one or two .....

There's been some fresh snow, alas, but I'm still in the mood for spring  ... and after all "winter always turns to spring" according to Buddha.  Sometimes winter just doesn't know when to leave.

This is my 3D pinwheel table mat - I love 3D blocks!  I used an old damask napkin for the white squares - fortunately, a stain was strategically placed so that I could cut around it.  ^^   In the jug you can see a few pussy willows and my fake faux flowering almond - I crocheted tiny blossoms and attached them to some branches.

A Spring heart from Gazette 94.  I love ladybugs!  ^^

A Gail Pan design.

I used dropcloth for both of the x-stitch designs.

When the blossoms don't want to come in nature yet, you just have to crochet them. Fantastic idea. And great spring stitching.

I adore your pinwheel! I have some linens that have been passed down to me and I am thinking now what a great idea to use them in little blocks or stitchery designs. All your projects are beautiful!

All three projects are lovely. I really like how you have outlined them with the thread - makes them stand out so. I saw this with the latest hexie blog block and it's something I will try. So clever to crochet some flowers. Spring will come.
