butterfly ....

Our spring storm is still raging - second day of heavy snow.  To keep from going mad I made this butterfly block.  If you flutter over to here you'll find the tutorial.

It went together so well but the head looks wonky in the photo ... maybe it is wonky - just like the weather.  ^^

It looks wonderful, all my blocks are wonky, lol.
We are getting the rain tomorrow, hope this is the last week of bad weather.

Keep warm with all that snow flying around. Your stitching is fantastic as always and I've enjoyed catching up with your posts.

Nothing like a butterfly inside to warm up the outside blues.

I think it looks good. Hope the snow moves off and the rest of your week is filled with sunshine.

I think it's lovely! Thank you for the link!
I am sorry to hear about the bad weather... I wish I could send you some sunshine from here...it was 25 C yesterday! In April!

The weather there sounds a bit crazy, Kate. Hope the warmer weather arrives soon for you. Love the block that you sewed; it looks great!

Oh, Kate, that looks great! I haven't made any in blue, and it's just darling. I like the border around it, too.

A snow storm, I can't believe it. You were doing well to choose some creative thing to do. And what a beautiful block, great job.
