it's beginning to look .......

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas ....

This is an ornie for someone special - it's a Lesley Teare design - it was finished before we moved
whilst I still had  all the bits and pieces to do sew so.

I attached these small ornies (from Cross Stitch Crazy - 12/16) to a very simple card.   I usually line the envelope but with most of my supplies in storage that wasn't possible.  These are for two ladies in our new community (and province) who were incredibly helpful, patient and pleasant whilst we were trying to get our driver licences and auto insurance - there was a deadline and it was a squeaker.  ^^

 Wouldn't this holly look super as a gift/package tie-on .... here's the link.

I'm joining Kathy for Sunday Slow Stitching.

We now have lots of snow thanks to a snowstorm/blizzard
a couple of days ago.

those who don't believe in magic
will never find it

Wonderful pieces and wonderful ideas for gifts.
I have to finish off a couple of pillows, then that is it for now.

I love the cute little owl! The small stitching on the cards really makes them extra special. They will be appreciated - a nice way to say thank you.

I do not envy you the snow, but your Christmas spirit is certainly intact! What lovely things you've made, and with limited resources and time, too!

Love the ornament finish, it looks great. What sweet cards you made, I love reading stories about the kindness of people. Only ever hear the bad but there are so many good people in the World.

Wish I had a little snow... it would make it feel more like Christmas time (live in florida now so no snow). Cute little ornaments. That owl is lovely.

What super cute stitchings you have created! I really like your mason jar/candle you created, Kate. I would be happy to take some of your snow off your hands. Enjoy your day.

Such cute pieces, Kate, and how nice of you to remember the ladies who helped you with your relocation. I didn't realize you had moved to a whole new province! We only got a bit of snow today, but it sure is cold--good time to stay inside and stitch :)

We haven't got snow yet this month, and I'm so happy about it :)
