Mom's shortbread
My mom who was an excellent baker and cook used to make the very best shortbread but I never had a lot of luck with her recipe. Today I decided to give it a whirl again and mom must have been watching over me since it turned out - the resident cookie monster has given it a thumbs up or is that simply because he hasn't had home made cookies for awhile?

It is so funny that you have posted about a cookie recipe. Not more than 2 minutes ago I told my husband I was in the mood to bake Christmas cookies, and we were deciding on a day to do it. I might just try your mom's recipe! I wanted to thank you for visiting and leaving the nice comment on my blog. Ellianna is really beautiful, and of course the pictures didn't do her justice!
