I remember the fear of the Millenium Bug wiping out our computer systems. We had a Contact Tree drawn up at work where each person would phone two others to get everyone into work in the event of the system not working on New Year's Day. Not sure how they expected me to get in without any public transport running but the danger was taken very seriously. A lot of coding had to be rewritten because our systems were originally done in the 1970s and only used two digits for the year.

I've been catching up with blog reading over the holiday. Love your crochet and fabric Angels.

Banking failure, I remember that prediction. Computers weren't supposed to be able to figure out how to turn over to 2000. Ha, ha, ha!
