I like making HSTs (half square triangles) - am I nuts?

And these remind me of baskets.  ^^

What a great looking bunch, Kate! No, you're no more nuts than I am for sticking a needle and thread in and out of teeny, tiny holes time after time, making those wee x's : )

I love making them too and fun to play with them to see what designs you can make.

No, you are NOT nuts! Because I like them, too, and I am not nuts. ;) It's one of the few things that will come out perfectly every time. It's extremely versatile to use alone, or combined with other shapes. I think it makes you wise. =) Love these in the picture, inspires many design thoughts.

Hello again, I found your on Kathy's slow stitching Sunday, A browsed around a little and really admire your blog style and work, I think we will be good friends. Your HS's are are a fun thing to while contemplating what to do next. They can always be used and keep the scrap pile down. Hmmm, thanks for a couple of new thoughts for me to do with mine.

No you're not nuts. Lots of us like to make HSTs. I have a ton of them from sewing together triangles cut off from making flying geese. Now what to do with them?? Thanks for linking to WIPs Be Gone, so I could come over and admire your work, Kate.
