odds 'n sods from the cabin .....

Here's a surprise - some stitching!!  It's a card for a friend and I confess that it was stitched a few weeks ago.

I took some pix around the yard at the cabin to share with you.  The gardens are doing well -  some plants doing better than others.  We tried planting potatoes in bags this year and they're looking good - the tops are, that is, since we don't know what is going on underneath ....

The candle holder my fella made finally has some hardware....

Much enjoyment is spent down by the water ....

be happy ..... it's one way of being wise

Love your stitched card, Kate! I enjoyed seeing your garden and yard photos at the cabin. Neat way to plant potatoes; I will be interested in hearing how they do when you dig them up.

Pretty stitching. I hope you have a bumper crop of potatoes. Loved looking at your photos and I hope you enjoy many hours sitting on those chairs enjoying the views.

A very pretty little card.
I loved to see all these pictures from around the cabin. I hope your potatoes will grow on nicely and will be delicious when ripe.

I've heard of growing strawberries in bags, but never potatoes ^^ Hope they do well. And I do like your kitchen sink lol.

That is so cute, Kate! And just seeing your view of the lake makes me totally relax. I so hope to retire in a lake house some day :)

Potatoes in bags is something I never heard on. Elaborate on that in a post? I love your view and can just imagine how relaxing that place is. The XS on the card is so cute.
