The big storm left us with only 5-6" of snow but the wind blew it into big drifts - other locations got more - highways were closed - lots of snow removal has been happening - more snow is on the way.
I have a collection of snow people that I usually put out for December and January but this year they're all in storage. Earlier this month the local thrift store displayed these little guys - of course I had to have them and would you believe the sum total of all this loveliness was $5? The little guy at the front is so sweet with his dangly legs. Santa is a hook but we're not allowed to put anything on the walls here - next year he won't be laying on a shelf I assure you. ^^
in the meadow we can build a snowman ....

Nothing allowed on your walls! how boring that must be for you - I love splashes of color on my walls. Your little decorations look lovely - the snow sounds like it will take a couple days to clear out
Oh, these snowmen are so cute!!!
The weather must be very cold there....with so much snow!
Cute snowmen! I'll bet the fresh snow looks awfully pretty.
What adorable finds, Kate! We had a few random flakes here; it you blinked you missed them. Stay warm!
love your snowmen.
Fun snowmen and they are fun to find and display, love things that make me smile.
Debbie
the great thing with xmas ornaments is, there's always next year to get them out again ^^
A great buy and they all look wonderful in your display. I often go on the look out to the charity shops for Christmas ornaments. We haven't had any snow so far this Winter and I hope it stays that way! Take care.
Have a Happy New Year.
What a great find, Kate! I love the dangly leg guy, too! Got a similar one for Christmas (but not at your great bargain price!!) and he is sitting here in my kitchen :)
Hope 2017 brings you and your family every happiness--here's to another creative year!
These are great finds, Kate. It's just a pity that you are not allowed to pin anything onto the walls.
