can't think of a good title ....

This is the Easter card that I made for our sweet neighbour, K - she really liked it - denim blue is her favourite colour - I did remove the marks at the bottom before giving it to her - wasn't bright enough to do so before taking the photo.

We were at the cabin again this week and this shows you how much ice has disappeared - we were able to drive right in ....

The first butterfly of the season posed for the camera .....

It was a balmy 15C (59F)!  On the drive home a blue heron came up out of the ditch and flew alongside us for a short distance - it was quite exciting to see it flying so close.

I also played at 'Suzy Homemaker' this week .....

look at the size of these frog legs - it would be a hoot to show these to kiddies - they look like bare bottoms - and this is how they looked when they were cooked - they are delicious btw ....

and I made some 'Boursin' and tortilla chips/crackers - both are delicious

be kind whenever possible -
it's always possible

That is a beautiful card and beautifully stitched.
No way could I eat that, lol. I have never liked any game meat, just white meat and beef, not sure why, just makes me sick when I have tried it.

Your Easter stitching is lovely.

Those frog legs sound delicious, but they do look funny.

Such a lovely Easter card for your neighbor, Kate.
And good for you that most of the snow on the way to your cabin has melted. It will be great when you can go there regularly again.
I have never tried frog legs although I have often seen them on menus in France.

Kate, what a cute card you created for your neighbor! That bunny is so cute. Hmmm, naked frog legs. I bet they were tasty once cooked. Have a wonderful weekend.

Your card for the neighbor is adorable. Did you catch those frogs yourself? I've eaten them once in a restaurant in Tucson and found them tasty. Prom night experiment. LOL Also the night of "Darn, what do I do with the olive pit now?" LOL

I am French but would pass on the frog legs.... however Boursin cheese would be most definitely welcome! :)

Your card is lovely, and handmade is so special, your neighbour must have been so happy to receive it. The temperature today where I live in England is forecast to be 7 degrees celsius, but at least we have some sunshine, this morning anyway.

Nothing like a picture to detect imperfections. Your neighbor is one lucky lady--this card is gorgeous!
