Labour Day weekend .....

It wasn't supposed to rain on this the last long weekend of the summer ..... so I put the rainy day to good use and made some bread and tried out this recipe for tomato jam - it is delicious - even though I missed one step - obviously I don't multi-task as well as I used to!

The geraniums are happy just now .....

Rainy days are great for catch up. I did a lot of cooking and cleaning and packing, so hopefully the rain they predict in the middle of the week, will disappear, lol.

We had rain on Saturday and sunshine yesterday and now today. Your little table mat under the jam is pretty. Enjoy your week!

It rained here most of the weekend, but today is warm and sunny!! Yay :) Glad your tomato jam was a success. If we ever get a bumper crop of tomatoes, I'll have to give it a try!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend in spite of the rain. But it seems that you used your time well. That tomato jam on some fresh baked bread makes my mouth water.

Tomato jam - I never tried that. I have a hard time imagining it, but it looks good. It was not bad here yesterday, but today thundered and poured rain for most of the day. But I didn't sew a thing, even though I could have.

Happy Labour Day - though I'll be honest, I don't really understand what that means! Live your geraniums, they are my favourite plant I think, I love their scent :)
