Christmas is my favourite time of the year - I love everything about it! Here are a few of my new projects .......
The 'cookie plate crumb catcher' was a design
offered by the craftyquilter.com.
Check out her variations of this design - quite lovely!
Making this I learned that I'm still not very good at
making the star block. This was the first time I'd ever
applied binding to an octagonal shape and it was a breeze - whew!
There were no cookies in our home so a wee plate of
brownies had to suffice.

Beautiful stitching. Are those brownies homemade?
Thanks for the link to the snow globes they are so sweet.
A very cheery stitched Santa! Think it's time to make a new Christmas ornament.
Lovely projects Kate , your table topper is especially pretty .
Looks like you're all ready for Christmas, Kate! Great job on the binding--I've always been too nervous to try applying it in any shape... Think I need to go take some sewing lessons (AND get a new machine :)
What lovely projects, for a wonderful time of year.
