some geese are back .....

Spring arrived by the calendar but our weather turned COLD upon it's arrival.  There are some Canada Geese back already, which we considered a good sign although we're wondering if they're as confused as the rest of us.  Anyway, I've managed to get all my inside spring cleaning done so that I'll be able to tackle the outdoor stuff as soon as the snow disappears and it dries up.

I had accumulated so many 'things' that I'd made over the winter that I was able to package them up  and send to friends.

I stitched this candlemat with a Val Laird design that is a favourite of mine and sent it to my best friend  - now I need to stitch one for myself.

A new primitive welcome for the front door.

Such beautiful stitching - your friend will love her gift. I hope the snow disappears for you soon.

Spring is here some days but we still get cold spells too - I guess we will soon be saying roll on Summer.

You make the cutest projects! I love Val Laird's designs! We are finally going to have a week of real Spring weather and I'm anxious to get outside and enjoy it. Hopefully, you will get to enjoy it soon too!
Sorry I haven't been by in a while, but since I quit blogging, I've done a lot of stuff around the house (cleaning and de-cluttering).

what a Lucky friend ^^ I just love the fabric choice, with those blues and reds that pick out the redwork embroidery. Really gorgeous.
