spring is sprung ....

 Spring is sprung
the grass is riz
wonder where the birdies is

Here they are - I couldn't wait for the hummingbirds to return so I made one of my own - it's the ruby throat hummingbird, which is the one that visits yearly in our neck of the woods.  And to keep it company there's a chickadee who is with us year round.  ^^   The patterns are available here .... I made mine the same on both sides - does that mean they are 3D?.

Mother Nature surprised us yesterday afternoon with a few inches (it was ankle deep) of fresh snow - there's more snow this morning than there was a month ago; however, with double digit temps forecast for the rest of the week it will soon be a bad memory.  Here's a pic of Little Dog surveying her yard and possibly wondering just what happened.

Your birds are beautiful. We have a blue tit nesting in our house (between the wall cavity) - we saw it go in and out several times with nesting material. It's a yearly occurrence which we look forward to as their birdsong is so sweet.

Strange to see you having snow while we are enjoying lovely sunshine. Keep warm.

Such pretty little birds!!
We are in Autumn her in New Zealand, but still enjoying weeks of nice sunny weather. Except for today, now it is raining. Nice and gentle and still quite warm.

Lovely little birds. And a nice little gift that nature left you. The good thing is that snow at this time of the year usually melts very quickly.

What a darling little bird. And now snow. I hope this is the end of your snow!

Love your birds, the birds seem to be avoiding our garden of late, must be those pesky cats that hang around (the cats don't belong to us and if I was quicker they would have a cold water shower each time they appeared). You just can't trust the seasons of late x x

Lovely birds! Our garden is full of birds, despite the cats! They are just quicker. They do seem to be feeling the Spring in the Air too, lots of flying around in pairs!
