summer sweater

This is my new summer sweater - the pattern is called Veranda Cardi available on Ravelry.
 I used cotton yarn.
The flower embellishment is a 'daisy' from Homespun magazine .... mine is a primrose or an anemone. ^^

I turned a dress into a skirt by cutting off the bodice and attaching a waistband.  This is lovely, lightweight crinkly gauze that is cool in the heat of the summer.
Unfortunately, it's showing up a brighter bluer than it really is ...

Some crocheted roses to wear with or embellish whatever.  The pattern is here.

How clever to chnage the dress into a summer skirt. And your new summer sweater looks so great, very summery.

Haven't you been a busy girl! I do like your sweater - but can't decide if it is knitted or crotcheted?

It is winter down here, and I am slowly working on a heavy cream cardigan for myself. Don't do a whole lot of knitting, usually at night in front of TV.

The blue skirt is lovely too, how clever to change it from a dress to a skirt. I wear a lot of blue so of course I love it.
