something to crow about ....

We're having some wonderful weather these days  and would you believe that the smoke from the Northern Washington forest fires has landed on our doorstep!

I haven't decided how I'm going to finish this rooster  -  a fabric tray, a candle mat or ......

This little critter is a white crab spider and it's about ¼" in size - it's
amazingly small.

Here are a couple of cozy corners at the cabin ....

A lovely little rooster that you stitched. I'm curious to see the finishing.
Very nice pictures from the cabin. Such a wonderful place to sit and read and stitch and quite simply relax.

The cabin deck looks so relaxing Kate... shame about the smoke, but I guess it's better than being in direct danger

I think I would just sit on your porch and stitch the day away, Kate--it looks so relaxing. I hope September brings more nice weather for you--ours is starting out way, way too HOT!!
