Love the way you've finished this, Kate--the blue fabric and lace are just perfect for a wintry look. We had about an inch last night, but it rained all afternoon so it will be nothing but grass showing by tomorrow morning.
I like the quote...expect nothing. It really does keep you from disappointment. And your stitching is beautiful! We are supposed to get some much needed rain later....bring it on!
